FBI Seeks Man Who Tried To Rob Lansing Bank
Someone tried to rob a First Bank of Hegewisch location in Lansing but was unsuccessful.
LANSING, IL - The FBI is looking for a man who tried to rob a bank in Lansing on Thursday. Bank surveillance photos of the wannabe bandit were released from the incident reported around 11:12 a.m. at the First Bank of Hegewisch location at 18207 Burnham Avenue.
The man is described as black, 5'7", 145 pounds with a small build and dark complexion. He wore blue jogging pants, a white t-shirt, white shoes and a light-colored fisherman-style bucket hat at the time of the crime.
