Fire Department Responds To More Than 8,000 Calls In 2019
The Chicago Heights Fire Department responded to more fire calls in 2019 than they did in 2018.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The number of fire calls made in Chicago Heights topped 8,000 for at least the second year in a row in 2019. The Chicago Heights Fire Department responded to 8,278 fire calls throughout the year, according to a post on their Facebook page.
The number is a slight uptick from the 8,170 reported in 2018.
In Frankfort, the number reported by their fire district was much less at 4,699 fire calls made in 2019.
