First Baby Of 2018 At Franciscan Health Chicago Heights

A baby boy was born shortly after midnight on New Year's Day at Franciscan Health Chicago Heights.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - It didn't take long for the first baby of 2018 to be born at Franciscan Health Chicago Heights. Just four minutes after the clock struck midnight on New Year's Day, Jan. 1, Joseph Alberto Guzman became the first baby born at the hospital this year.

Joseph weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 18.5 inches long at birth. He is the son of Krisna Guzman-Avila of Sauk Village.
