Franciscan Alliance Foundation South Suburban Chicago among 18 charities supported by First Look for Charity

Black-tie event to be held at McCormick Place on Friday, February 12, before Chicago Auto Show opens to public

The Franciscan Alliance Foundation South Suburban Chicago will again participate in the annual Chicago Auto Show’s First Look For Charity event on Friday, February 12, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., at McCormick Place.

First Look for Charity has raised more than $42 million for Chicago area charities since its inception 25 years ago.

Franciscan Alliance Foundation South Suburban Chicago is one of 18 charities that benefits from the proceeds of this black-tie event. This is the seventh of a nine-year commitment that the Chicago Auto Show has made to the Foundation.

“We are grateful to Dennis Bauer, of Arnie Bauer Buick, GMC, Cadillac, for bringing this opportunity to Franciscan St. James,” said Sue Linn, Executive Director of the Franciscan Alliance Foundation South Suburban Chicago. “This year’s First Look for Charity proceeds benefit the Franciscan St. James Health Lullaby Birthplace.”

First Look for Charity enables participants to behold the nation’s largest auto show in grandeur, the evening before the show opens to the public, and indulge in a variety of hors d’oeuvres, champagne, wine and more. And this year, two lucky attendees will win the keys to a 2016 Lincoln MKX or a 2016 Jeep Renegade.
