Olympia Fields hospital celebrates the first baby born at Franciscan Health Family Birth Center in 2020

Welcome to the world! A’leeyah Wright became the first baby born in 2020 at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields Family Birth Center at 3:23 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
A’leeyah Wright is the daughter of Rushell Clark and William Wright of Monroe, Michigan. She weighed in at exactly 4 pounds and 17 inches long. Baby A’leeyah will be welcomed home by her four siblings, making her the youngest and the first to be born at Franciscan Health Family Birth Center Olympia Fields in 2020.
Families that are the first to deliver at the Family Birth Center in the New Year receive a gift basket containing items for the infant.

Located on the second floor of our new patient pavilion in Olympia Fields, the Franciscan Health Family Birth Center offers a harmonious blend of comfort, state-of-the- art equipment, Level II special care nursery, labor and delivery and post-partum/ gynecological care. In addition to private rooms focused on the family birthing experience, parental celebration meals are offered to every new family. The new Family Birth Center offers an improved experience to Southland mothers and the babies we are honored to introduce into the world.
