'God Called Me' to Marian Catholic: New CFO

Curt Schubert feels "blessed" and "honored" to be part of Marian Catholic community.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - Marian Catholic High School has named its next chief financial officer. It's Curt Schubert, who says God "called" him to the Chicago Heights school.

“God works in our lives in subtle and mysterious ways," said Schubert, a DePaul grad who previously spent ten years as CFO at The Children's Place Association in Chicago. "I firmly believe that God ‘called me’ to be part of the outstandingly talented team at Marian Catholic High School. I am truly blessed and honored to be part of Marian Catholic community.”

Schubert’s previous experience includes financial positions with Lutheran Social Services of Illinois and in public accounting.

“We’re delighted to welcome Curt to our staff,” Marian Catholic President Vince Krydynski said. “He brings extensive knowledge in crucial areas including accounting, budgeting, contract compliance, facilities management and auditing.”

Schubert is a resident of Justice and an active member of St. Fabian Parish in Bridgeview.
