Greenbriar School Drive Benefits the South Suburban Humane Society
La campaña escolar de Greenbriar beneficia a la South Suburban Humane Society
CHSD170’s Greenbriar School students recently hosted a donation drive to benefit the animals at the South Suburban Humane Society.
The SSHU came to the school to collect donations and brought three dogs, Ellie, Crusty, and Peanut, to meet the children.
“We are thrilled to conduct this drive each year to benefit the South Suburban Humane Society,” said Greenbriar Principal Joe Taylor.

“Events of this type are a happy experience for our students that teaches them the importance of helping an essential agency of our community.”
“We enjoyed the visit and look forward to this event every year to teach the children to give back to the community during the holiday season,” said third-grade teacher Ellen Wise, who organized the event.

The South Suburban Humane Society is dedicated to promoting the well-being of pets and serving the people who love them in the south metropolitan Chicago region.

Los estudiantes de la escuela Greenbriar de CHSD170 organizaron recientemente una campaña de donación para beneficiar a los animales de South Suburban Humane Society.
La SSHU vino a la escuela para recolectar donaciones y trajo tres perros, Ellie, Crusty y Peanut, para conocer a los niños.
"Estamos encantados de llevar a cabo esta campaña cada año en beneficio de South Suburban Humane Society", dijo el director de Greenbriar, Joe Taylor.
“Eventos de este tipo son una experiencia feliz para nuestros estudiantes que les enseña la importancia de ayudar a una agencia esencial de nuestra comunidad”.
“Disfrutamos la visita y esperamos con ansias este evento todos los años para enseñar a los niños a contribuir a la comunidad durante la temporada navideña”, dijo la maestra de tercer grado Ellen Wise, quien organizó el evento.
