Greenbriar Students Again Decorate the Old Second Bank Christmas Tree
Los estudiantes de Greenbriar una vez más ayudan a decorar el Arbor de Navidad en Old Second Bank
A group of third-grade students from Chicago Heights School District 170’s Greenbriar School recently visited Old Second Bank to assist employees in decorating the bank’s Christmas tree.
Greenbriar teachers Keri Cialdella and Ellen Wise selected the children who took part in the activity based on their hard work and leadership in the classroom. Sophia Sanfratello chaperoned the students on the excursion.
The decorating of the tree has become an annual tradition for the school’s students and is heartily embraced by all of the Greenbriar family.

“Old Second Bank is an amazing community partner who continues to support the activities at our school,” Greenbriar Principal Joe Taylor declared.
“This ongoing holiday tradition is an eagerly anticipated event for our third-grade students each and every year,” he said. “The students made ornaments to decorate the tree along with ornaments from past years.”

Old Second Bank employees took the students on a tour of the facility and gave them cookies, treats, and hot chocolate in thanks for their efforts.

Un grupo de estudiantes de tercer grado de la escuela Greenbriar del Distrito Escolar 170 de Chicago Heights visitó recientemente Old Second Bank para ayudar a los empleados a decorar el árbol de Navidad del banco.
Las maestras de Greenbriar, Keri Cialdella y Ellen Wise, seleccionaron a los niños que participaron en la actividad en función de su arduo trabajo y liderazgo en el aula. Sophia Sanfratello acompañó a los estudiantes durante la excursión.
La decoración de árboles se ha convertido en una tradición anual para los estudiantes de la escuela y toda la familia Greenbriar abraza la actividad.
"Old Second Bank es un socio comunitario increíble que continúa apoyando las actividades de nuestra escuela", declaró el director de Greenbriar, Joe Taylor.
“Esta continua tradición navideña es un evento muy esperado por nuestros estudiantes de tercer grado todos los años”, dijo Taylor.

Los empleados de Old Second Bank llevaron a los estudiantes a recorrer las instalaciones y les dieron galletas, golosinas y chocolate caliente en agradecimiento por sus esfuerzos.
