Jail Detainees Attack Female Inmate in Markham Lock-Up: State's Attorney
The two men allegedly attacked a female detainee in the prisoner holding area in the Markham Courthouse, state's attorney says.

MARKHAM, IL -- A pair of Cook County Jail male detainees have been indicted on charges that they sexually assaulted a female detainee while in the prisoner lock-up area at the Markham Courthouse. The alleged assault occurred in May.
Hamidullah Tribble, 21 and Nelon Drake, 23, are each charged with with sexual assault. The two men are accused of attacking a 52-year-old female detainee on May 2 in the prisoner holding area where detainees wait for court and bond hearings.
Both men are said to be in the custody of Cook County Jail on other pending criminal cases. Tribble is currently being held on $100,000 bail for aggravated kidnapping of a child, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and and unlawful restraint.

Drake is being held on a first degree murder charge, and a separate case of attempted murder, armed robbery, aggravated discharge of a weapon and aggravated unlawful restraint.
Tribble and Drake are both scheduled to appear for a bond hearing on June 29 in Markham on the sexual assault charge.
