CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - A beloved member of the Chicago Heights community died over the weekend. Joseph A. (Joe) Faso was a lifelong Heights resident who left a mark on many facets of the community.

Faso was a Chicago Heights alderman for eight years and also served the community as president of the Chicago Heights Builders Club and Chicago Heights Country Club. He was a partner in a number of businesses and worked proudly as part of the family business, Faso Excavating, which operated in downtown Chicago Heights for nearly 80 years.
