Lincoln-Gavin Students Sweeten Success with iReady Achievements

In the spirit of academic excellence and in recognition of their hard work, students at Lincoln-Gavin School recently celebrated a remarkable accomplishment in their iReady interactive math and reading paths.

Throughout November, students embarked on a journey of learning and growth, dedicating themselves to achieving the challenging goal of completing 16 lessons in their adaptive learning paths.

The iReady program, known for its adaptive nature, tailors lessons to individual student needs, ensuring a personalized and practical learning experience. Students at Lincoln-Gavin embraced this opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in both math and reading, demonstrating a commitment to academic success.

On Friday, December 1st, the school community came together to acknowledge and celebrate the students' hard work and dedication. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy as students were rewarded for reaching their goal with a delightful surprise – cotton candy!

The sweet treat served as a delicious symbol of their accomplishments, sweetening the taste of success for each student.

Lincoln-Gavin Principal Tricia Wells joined in the festivities with a unique twist to add an extra layer of fun to the celebration. Students were allowed to choose between two entertaining options: giving the Principal a Pie in the Face or a Pie High Five. Laughter echoed through the school as students gleefully participated in this light-hearted and memorable celebration.

Wells, known for being brave and good-spirited, commented about the students' achievement and the spirited celebration.
