Middle School Teacher Charged With Child Porn In Lansing

LANSING, IL -- Lansing police arrested a middle school teacher on child pornography charges. Walter Clay, 30 was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and domestic battery after police say he physically attacked his wife after she initially found out about a possible relationship between Clay and an underage girl, according to a WGN report.

Clay, a middle school teacher at Coolidge Middle School in Phoenix, Illinois faces the following charges: two counts of possession of child pornography, one count of grooming and one count of indecent solicitation of a child.

Police began an investigation into Clay when they learned of a possible inappropriate relationship with an underage girl last month.

The WGN account also states that police say that Clay's wife was the first to discover the relationship and that he responded by trying to choke her.
