CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - A new health center is open in Chicago Heights. Oak Street Health, a network of healthcare centers focused on serving Medicare patients, has opened the doors of a new center at Lincoln Crossing on Western Avenue this Tuesday. Professionals at the center have already started seeing patients as well, according to a news release.
The center, located at 1401 Western Ave., will provide adults on Medicare in the community with Oak Street Health’s primary care, as well as other community services including transportation to appointments, fitness classes, language lessons, movie screenings and Medicare education.
The opening is Oak Street Health's 16th in the Chicagoland area since it began five years ago. In that time frame, the company has treated more than 20,000 patients in the region.
