Park Forest Mom of Six Reported Missing
Family says Brenda Jackson, 31, has not been seen since the late evening hours of Jan. 3.

A 31-year-old Park Forest Army veteran and mother of six children has been reported missing.
Brenda Jackson has not been since late evening of Jan. 3, when a relative dropped her off at her home in the 200 block of Acadia Street in Park Forest.

The woman never made it into work on Jan. 4, and was reported missing to the Park Forest Police Department by her mother and husband the next day.
Jackson is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5 feet tall and 125 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. She has a scar on her upper chest and star tattoos on both sides of her neck. She also has a heart tattooed on her ring finger and a tattoo that says “Michael” on her left inner wrist. She is not known to have left in any particular vehicle.

The veteran-run website, Missing Veterans, said Jackson is a U.S. Army veteran who served in the war in Iraq. Her family states that Jackson went missing without her purse or her jacket, which she typically would have grabbed due to the cold weather.
The family told Missing Veterans that there has been no activity on her credit cards or cell phone since she went missing.
Her family was out over the weekend passing out fliers.
