Photo Gallery: C-SPAN Bus Makes A Stop at Bloom High School

Students from AP History classes from Bloom and Bloom Trail High Schools got a tour on the C-SPAN bus

Students from AP History classes from Bloom and Bloom Trail high schools got a chance to see how C-SPAN works behind the scenes. The C-SPAN bus made a stop at Bloom High school in Chicago Heights on Thursday morning. Students learned about the history of C-SPAN and also learned about accessing videos on cspan.org

Students took short history quizzes on computers located on the bus. According to C-SPAN marketing specialist, Vanessa Torres, the bus cost 1.2 million dollars to build.

After taking the tour, Ndidi Obasi, C-SPAN marketing rep. CPAN'S student Cam informed the students that they are offering a contest for students in 6th-12th grade on the topic: What Does It Mean To Be American? Deadline is January 20th 2019.
