Photo Gallery: Marian Fall Choir Concert
Marian Catholic high school presents the first choral concert of the year featuring the Concert, Spartan, Varsity and Chamber Ensemble
On October 15th, Marian Catholic presented it's first choral concert the Fall Choir concert. With Choral director, Claire Jakubisin on family leave, Michael Rugen (former choral director at H/F high school) came out of retirement to direct the first concert of the school year.
Four choirs performed for the evening, the first being the Concert Choir. They performed In Time of Silver Rain, Sun and Moon as well as Defying Gravity.
The next performance was done by the Chamber Ensemble who performed Corner of the Sky (from Pippin) and You Can't Stop the Beat (from Hairspray).

Third performance of the evening came from the Spartan Choir as they performed Servant of All, Cantate Domino, A Wink and a Smile and Irving Berlin's "Blue Sky's".
The Varsity Choir sang a unique version of Amazing Grace called Grace along with Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, Joy in the Morning and All Things Bright and Beautiful.

The finale was sung by all the combined Marian Catholic Choirs. A unique rendition of the song "Africa" was done by all the talented choir members. Bao Khoi (KJ) Tran along with Logan Driver provided a beatbox sound throughout the song.
