Pimping Couple Gets Prison After Admitting To Forced Prostitution

LANSING, IL - Prison sentences have been handed out in the cases of Ambrosia Clemons, 37 and Kearita Ladd, 24, the couple who pleaded guilty to charges related to forcing a 13-year-old girl into prostitution at a hotel in Lansing nearly two years ago. The Daily Southtown reports Clemons will receive 13 years in prison and Ladd will receive six years after both pleaded guilty to various crimes.

Clemons and Ladd were arrested in December of 2016 after prosecutors said they forced the young girl to have sex with them, prostituted her to more than 10 men and made her dance at strip clubs nearby, according to the Southtown report. Allegations included the couple holding, hitting and choking the young girl as she tried to escape their capture.
