Prairie State College Celebrates 'Unsung Heroes' at Conference

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with exhibitors to obtain new resources.

Prairie State College Corporate and Continuing Professional Education Department is hosting “Unsung Heroes of Healthcare,” from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday March 11, in the conference center located on the college’s main campus at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.

The conference is designed for certified nursing assistants and certified medical assistants in the community to learn new information, network, gain new resources and feel empowered in their healthcare role. A $20 registration fee includes a certificate of completion, continental breakfast, lunch and raffle prizes.

The conference features learning opportunities on diabetes, cancer, infection control and dementia. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with exhibitors to obtain new resources.
