Prairie State College Chamber Music and Wind Ensemble Concert March 27

The Wind Ensemble at PSC is a collaboration of musicians from the college, community and local high schools.

The Prairie State College (PSC) Chamber Music and Wind Ensemble concert will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Monday, March 27, in the Barnes & Noble College Auditorium in the Conference Center of the PSC main campus, located at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.

The evening’s event is in celebration of national Music in Our Schools Month and will feature performances by select groups and individuals from the band. The concert also will include a performance by high school students who recently participated in the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) Solo and Ensemble competition.

The Wind Ensemble at PSC is a collaboration of musicians from the college, community and local high schools, and is directed by Phillip Crews.
