Prairie State College Partners With Chicago Heights to Honor Vietnam Veterans

Prairie State College (PSC) is honoring Vietnam veterans in November 2016, as a part of the nation’s ongoing 50th Vietnam War Commemoration.
In partnership with the City of Chicago Heights and the Village of Park Forest, PSC is hosting a special pinning ceremony for Vietnam veterans at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 10, in the Barnes & Noble College Auditorium, located on the college’s main campus at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.
Mayor of Chicago Heights David A. Gonzalez and Mayor of the Village of Park Forest John A. Ostenburg will present lapel pins and certificates to each attending Vietnam veteran and their spouse, or to the widow or parent of a deceased Vietnam veteran.
