CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — A Richton Park man faces gun and other charges after being stopped for driving erratically in Chicago Heights, the Cook County Sheriff's Office said Monday.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on May 5, Organized Crime Division investigators saw a Dodge Charger make multiple lane changes, cutting off traffic and speeding on Lincoln Highway in Chicago Heights, the sheriff's office said.

Officers stopped the car and learned the driver, Tyreek Roach, 24, did not have insurance. Roach consented to a search of the car, where investigators found a loaded firearm with an extended magazine that also had a switch that makes the weapon fully automatic, the sheriff's office said.
