Metra Electric Line Returns For Monday Morning Commute

A modified schedule will be in effect for Monday.

CHICAGO – The Metra Electric Line will return in time for the Monday morning commute. Trains on the line will run on a modified schedule that day, according to a news release.

A freight train derailment on CN tracks near the Metra line in Harvey caused a complete shutdown of the Electric Line for more than two days last week. A portion of the line was re-opened on Sunday, with the entire stretch set to return early Monday.

The modified Monday schedule is available via Metra here.
