2 Killed In Fiery I-80 Rollover Crash Near Hazel Crest
According to police, a driver lost control and struck a light pole, causing the vehicle to flip and catch fire.
HAZEL CREST, IL — Authorities Sunday were investigating a fiery rollover crash that killed two people on Interstate 80.
The crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday near Hazel Crest where a driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a light pole causing it to flip and catch fire, NBC Chicago reported.
According to state police, the crash shut down part of the interstate for about four hours. The identities of those killed were not immediately released pending notification of their families.
