SD170 To Offer Early 2019-20 Registration For Returning Students

Chicago Heights School District 170 will conduct early student registration for the 2019-2020 school year during the weeks of July 22 – 25, and July 29 – August 1.

Registration will be on an appointment-only basis. The process will allow parents to verify their residency and complete student registration at a time most convenient to their schedules.

To schedule an appointment for the early registration process, contact the office of the school your child will attend.

In addition to the early registration opportunities at the neighborhood schools during the weeks mentioned above, the district also has implemented an online process to expedite the registration experience.

The State of Illinois now requires every student entering the sixth grade to undergo new physical and dental examinations before the start of the school year. The district urges parents to make an appointment with your health care provider to ensure meeting all requirements.
