Services Set For Beloved Family Members Killed In Crete Township Slayings
Visitation has been set for Jacob Lambert, Stacy Forde and Patrick Forde.
CRETE TOWNSHIP, IL — Services have been set for three members of a Crete Township family found slain last week.
A wake for Jake Lambert, 32; his mother, Stacy Forde, 54; and stepfather, Patrick Forde, 55, is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Faith Church, in Dyer, Ind., 100 W. 81st Ave., according to their obituaries.
In his obituary, Jake Lambert is described as a loving father to daughter Ella, 4, and son Rhett, 3, and "a loving son and father and a dear friend to many," who will be dearly missed. He was son to Drew Lambert and Stacy Forde.

In Stacy Forde's obituary, she is described as a loving mother of Lucas Polmen and the late Jacob Lambert, cherished grandmother of Ella and Rhett Lambert, and dear sister of Melissa (Kevin) Metcalf and the late Edward Upchurch. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who "was loved by many and will be deeply missed."
Patrick Forde was described as the loving stepdad of the late Jacob Quinn Lambert and Lucas James Polmen, and beloved brother of Sharon Forde, Sandra Forde and Samantha. He was "loved by many and will be dearly missed by all his family here, in Ireland, and in England." Memorial contributions may be made to South Suburban Humane Society, 21800 Central Ave., Matteson.

Contributions honoring Jacob Lambert and Stacy Forde may be given to Celebrate Recovery at Faith Church.
Lambert, his mother, and his stepfather were found slain at the family's Crete Township home on March 23. Charged in their deaths is Lambert's on/off romantic partner and mother to his children, Jenna Strouble.
Strouble is in custody at the Will County Jail. Her pretrial detention hearing was postponed until Tuesday, with Strouble citing her attorney could not be present Monday.
