Shooting At Busy Chicago Heights Intersection Gang-Related: Cops

Two teenagers from Sauk Village were wounded after a Friday afternoon shooting at Chicago and Joe Orr roads.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - A shooting that wounded two men in a busy Chicago Heights intersection Friday afternoon is believed to be gang-related, police said in a news release. The victims, a 19-year-old man and 18-year-old man both from Sauk Village, were found inside a black 2000 Infiniti vehicle at the intersection of Chicago and Joe Orr roads on Friday, Jan. 11 at 4:01 p.m.

Both victims were shot in the abdomen and shoulders and taken to Franciscan Health Olympia Fields with non life-threatening injuries.
