Southland School Districts Unite for Back-to-School Clinic

The major partnership will allow students to receive vaccines and immunizations before returning to school.

Bloom Township High School District 206 is partnering with several fellow South Suburban school districts to provide a special back-to-school clinic.

Community members are invited to attend the clinic and receive COVID vaccines, as part of a partnership with Jewel Osco, as well as Community Consolidated Schools District 168, Brookwood School District 167, Sandridge School District 172, and Ford Heights School District 169. Students can also receive immunizations, as well as school and sport-mandated physicals, vision screenings, and dental screenings at the event.

“This connection between Bloom 206, Jewel-Osco, and all of these wonderful neighboring school districts is all in the interest of health and safety,” said Superintendent Lenell Navarre. “As we prepare for the return to school, we want to ensure students and families have easy access to the vaccine and other health requirements.”
