Space Still Available For Alicia's House Golf Outing & Dinner

Little Alicia Diaz loved to help people.

As a toddler, Alicia would put candy in the bags of those who stopped by her grandparent’s food pantry.

Today, Alicia’s grandparent’s Juan & Stella Hernandez run one of the busiest food pantries in the south east suburbs,

Alicia’s House.

Tragically, Alicia Diaz was killed in January of 2001.

Her grandparents make sure, her dream of helping others goes on.

According to the website; www.aliciashouse.org , the pantry has fed over 110,000 people since 2001. The Hernandez family wants to make sure the legacy of Alicia to continue.

Saturday, September 13th, a golf outing/dinner will be held at Lincolnshire to help raise additional funds. There are still spots for golf and dinner. Golf and dinner is only $125 if you would like dinner only, it is $45 per person. A Celebrity meet and greet is included.

Scott Schwartz from Oceans, 11, 12 and 13 is again returning to pose for photos and sign autographs along with Milt Pappas, the former pitcher for the Chicago Cubs.

There will also be one of the largest memorabilia collection for auction.

Items including: autographed items from John F. Kennedy, Johnny Cash, Rocky Marciano, Walter Payton, Michael Jordan, Hank Aaron, Vince Gill, Toby Keith, Urlacher, Butkus, and Singletary. Many other items signed by Dale Jr., Ali, Gale Sayers, Alan Jackson, Charlie Daniels, Milt Pappas, Ron Santo, John Travolta, and many others....

Come meet the celebrities and bid on a once in a life memorabilia item. Begins at 4:30pm.
