Spring 2020 Registration is Open at PSC

PSC offers a wide range of degree and certificate programs, as well as noncredit options to meet the needs of students.

Registration for the spring 2020 semester at Prairie State College (PSC) is open now, with a wide range of degree and certificate programs, as well asnoncredit options offered to meet the needs of students in Community College District
515.

During open registration, students will have the opportunity to explore the possibilities,and find what fits. Students can enroll in 16-, 14-, 12- or eight-week courses, with flexible scheduling options, convenient start dates, and courses offered during the day, evening, and online. The college also offers five fully online degree program options.

The 16-week and first eight-week courses begin Jan. 13. Classes for the 14-week session begin Jan 27. The 12-week courses start Feb 7, and the second eight-week session begins March 16. All classes offer the same course material and credit hours. For shorter weeks, class session times are extended.

To register for credit courses, new students must complete an enrollment application in person at the college, located at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights, or online at prairiestate.edu. Enrollment Services is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Priority registration is underway for current PSC students, so those who are currently enrolled for the fall 2019 semester, can register online through WebAdvisor.

The payment deadline for spring credit courses is Tuesday, Dec. 10. Students are required to pay in full or have a payment plan in place on or before the deadline. Financial aid and scholarships are available to eligible applicants. The PSC Foundation also offers scholarships for tuition, books, and fees to those who qualify. Non-credit courses are offered with start dates throughout the semester. Students
can choose from adult education and personal enrichment courses; continuing education and work-related training; and short-term, career-focused programs through the PSC Corporate and Continuing Education (CED) department. For details about non-credit courses, seminars, workshops and related programs, visit prairiestate.edu/ced. Registration for non-credit courses can be made online via WebAdvisor using Instant Enrollment,in person at Enrollment Services on the main campus or at the Matteson Area Center, or by phone at (708) 709-3750.
