Stabbing In Steger Leaves 1 Man Dead: Police
Police say Ryan Connell was stabbed multiple times before they found him in a home on Chicago Road on New Year's Day.
STEGER, IL — A 28-year-old Steger man is dead after police say he suffered several stab wounds. Steger police found the body of Ryan S. Connell of Steger while responding to a well-being check around 7:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of Chicago Road on New Year's Day, according to a news release.
A person of interest is in custody and being questioned by police. Charges had not been filed as of Friday afternoon.
Services for Connell will be held on Monday, Jan. 6 at the Smits-Steger Memorial Chapel.
