University Park Couple Killed When Car Falls From Parking Garage
Iristeen and Charles Hunt have been identified as the fatal victims when a car plunged from an Indianapolis parking garage.

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL — A couple who lived in University Park were confirmed as the fatal victims of an accident in a downtown Indianapolis parking garage earlier this week in which an SUV plunged from the fourth-floor, multiple media reports indicate. The Marion County Coroner's office in Indiana has identified the pair as Iristeen Hunt, 70 and Charles Hunt, 73.
Both died of multiple blunt force injuries in an accident, according to reports.
First responders in Indianapolis responded to the scene just before 10 a.m. eastern time on Wednesday and found the SUV upside-down in the alley behind the parking garage, according to a Fox 59 Indianapolis report. An Indianapolis Fire Department official told the television station they tried to extricate the couple found that was found not to be viable.

Officials said the car struck the left rear corner of an unoccupied, parked car before going about 20 feet, hitting the wall of the parking garage and falling to the ground.
WGN-TV reports a man who witnessed the fatal vehicle plunge was treated for shock.

ABC-7 reporter Evelyn Holmes spoke to neighbors in University Park who knew the Hunts.
They appeared to be a happy couple, with the woman enjoying playing card games and the man liked the outdoors and fishing she reported.
