Vehicle Stickers on Sale Now for Heights Residents
City-mandated vehicle stickers are now on sale and residents have until July 2 to purchase their stickers. The stickers cost between $5 and $30.
The city clerk of Chicago Heights is urging residents to stay ahead of the game and purchase their city vehicle stickers early, before the July 2 deadline. The stickers, which were designed by a local student, can be purchased at several locations throughout the city.
The price of stickers varies, depending on the type of vehicle. The costs for various vehicles can be found below:
- Passenger: $30
- Senior: $5 (Age 65 and older two per household with valid vehicle registration and proof of age)
- Veteran: $5 (1 per household with valid vehicle registration, DD214 certificate or military ID)
- B Trucks: $30
- D Trucks: $46
- Antique: $10
- Motorcycle: $15
Stickers can be purchased at local currency exchanges, including Chicago Heights, 82 Illinois Street; Wilson Plaza, 403 Lincoln Highway, Olympia Plaza; 157 W. Joe Orr Road; and J.P. Casa de Cambio, 1900 Chicago Road. They can also be purchased at Ultra Foods, 571 W. 14th Street; and Heights Fresh Mart, 1657 Chicago Road.
