Woman Killed In Dispute At Lansing LA Fitness Parking Lot
Police officials say the woman was shot one time before dying at local hospital.
LANSING, IL — Police officials are investigating after a woman was shot and killed in a Lansing gym parking lot Sunday morning following an altercation, authorities said. WMAQ reported detectives said the fatal shooting took place just after midnight at the L.A. Fitness in the 17300 of Torrance Avenue. Authorities said the unidentified woman was shot once, and a friend took her to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead, according to the news report.
Police haven't arrested anyone in the case as the investigation continues.
