Woman Wins $100K in Lottery On Her Birthday
Jacqueline Robinson of Calumet City was the lucky winner of a 100X The Money instant ticket purchased in Chicago.
CALUMET CITY, IL -- A Calumet City woman was in for a birthday surprise when she bought an Illinois Lottery 100X The Money instant ticket recently. Jacqueline Robinson treated herself to the buy for her 46th birthday and it paid off. She won $100,000 from the scratch off game.
“I was having lunch with a friend when I scratched it and saw that I won $100,000," she said. "I couldn’t believe it! What a fantastic birthday present!”
With her winnings, Robinson -- who bought the winning ticket at the Gateway Newstand on the Near North Side of Chicago -- wants to take a vacation and pay bills.

“I have always wanted to go on a week-long cruise,” she said.
