• Cicero Welcomes Five New Police Officers to the Community – The Town of Cicero (thetownofcicero.com) — Five newly minted police officers have joined the Cicero Police Department after completing the academy and being introduced at the September 8 Board of Trustees meeting. Town President Larry Dominick praised their commitment to serving and protecting Cicero residents, emphasizing the responsibility of earning community trust as they begin their law enforcement careers in the town.
   

• CDBG-DR Action Plan Non-Substantial Amendment No. [1] – October 2026 – The Town of Cicero (thetownofcicero.com) — The Town of Cicero is updating its CDBG-DR Action Plan to clarify who qualifies for housing assistance tied to the July 2023 federal disaster and to raise the maximum help for new backflow installations to $8,000 per property. Planning funds will now focus on updating Cicero's Comprehensive Plan and a Capital Improvement Plan, without changing overall disaster-recovery allocations.
