Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital is on its way toward paying for a $247 million expansion and modernization project after raising more than $18 million from donors and with the hopes of raising $7 million more before the project is complete in 2017, according to the Northwest Herald.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held at the Barrington campus on Wednesday and the expansion project will include building eight new operating rooms and private patient rooms, according to the Northwest Herald.
