4th Annual A Toast to Hope to benefit local cancer patients

Albums of Hope, a 501(c)(3) charity in McHenry, IL, is gearing up for their 4th annual A Toast to Hope Wine and Beer Tasting and Silent Auction which takes place on Friday, June 19th from 6-9 pm at The Gardens of Woodstock, 5211 Swanson Road, Woodstock, IL.

This event is the organization’s major fundraising of the year. The event provides community members with the opportunity to taste over 35 different wines and beers, enjoy appetizers and desserts, and participate in a silent auction event.

This year, a Disney Travel package valued at over $1500, is being raffled off as well.

Albums of Hope provides pocket-sized albums to local cancer treatment and support centers. The albums are filled with uplifting quotes and beautiful photos to give patients a life of spirit during treatments. Since beginning in 2011, over 3000 albums have been donated to treatment and support centers such as Gavers Breast Center in Crystal Lake, North Shore Oncology-Hematology Associates in Crystal Lake, Northwest Suburban Oncology and Hematology in McHenry, Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, and Ann and Robert H. Lurie’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago.
