MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Three people were injured when an ice cream truck and a sports utility vehicle collided last week in McHenry County, officials said.
The force of the crash, which occurred at about 2:10 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Miller Road and Spring Grove Road in unincorporated McHenry, caused the ice cream truck to roll over, the Lake & McHenry County Scanner is reporting.
The driver of the SUV was seriously injured while a passenger in his vehicle sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening, according to the article. The ice cream truck driver suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
