CARY, IL — Beer lovers can enjoy a day outdoors while sampling craft brews from regional breweries during The Great Outdoors Beer Trail at Fel-Pro RRR.
The event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at Fel-Pro RRR, 1520 Crystal Lake Road, and invites guests to walk a one-mile partially wooded and paved trail while stopping at stations featuring local brewers along the route. Attendees also can play bags, listen to music and enjoy food from local food trucks, according to the McHenry County Forest Preserve District.
The event is open to guests ages 21 years old and older, and children are not permitted. The site will be closed to other users during the event and will close at sunset.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite, with general admission tickets starting at $65. Tickets include a commemorative tasting glass and beer samples. Designated driver tickets are $15 and include water or soda and a commemorative tumbler.
VIP tickets, which included early admission, a VIP bag, commemorative tasting glass and beer samples, are already sold out, according to the forest preserve district.
Organizers said this will be the final year dogs will be allowed at the event due to increased attendance and safety concerns, but designated service animals will continue to be welcome.
Guests bringing dogs are reminded that leashes are required, pets must remain on trails and attendees should respect the space of both people and other animals.
