WOODSTOCK, IL — A Woodstock-area orchard has unveiled a new Dolly Parton-themed corn maze, giving the attraction added significance following the country music icon's death Tuesday.
All Seasons Orchard, 14510 Route 176, had just announced the maze honoring Parton and her Imagination Library when her death was revealed, marketing director Kamille Combs told Shaw Local.
The Illinois maze is one of 20 Dolly-themed tribute mazes in the U.S. and Canada and features Parton's face, flowing hair and the words "An American Treasure," along with interactive trivia, a photo opportunity and storytime featuring "Coat of Many Colors."
All Seasons Orchard opens Saturday and runs through Nov. 1, with the orchard planning to donate to the Imagination Library, which provides free books each month to children from birth to age 5 years old, according to Shaw Local.
