• Crystal Lake Man Arrested On Child Sex Abuse Material Charges (patch.com) — Crystal Lake residents are being alerted after a 27-year-old local man was arrested on serious child sexual abuse material charges following a police search on Carlemont Drive. Crystal Lake police, working with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, say the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information to contact the department or submit anonymous tips.

Junior quarterback Cara Schroeder accounted for four touchdowns, while standout receiver Gaby Dzik hauled in two scores as the Gators completed a remarkable turnaround from last season's struggles.
