CARY PHYSICAL THERAPY CONTINUES PARTNERSHIP WITH NORGE SKI CLUB

Deb Gulbrandson, PT and Gil Gulbrandson, Certified Pilates Instructor are teaching Pilates to the Norge Jr Ski Jump team

Cary/Fox River Grove – This is the third year that Cary Physical Therapy has partnered with Norge Ski Club of Fox River Grove. The mission remains the same which is to increase performance and improve the safety of the Junior Program members. The junior ski jumpers are ranked nationally with Olympic potential. Cary Physical Therapy devised a screening assessment specifically for these athletes. The therapists apply their expertise and have created customized exercises for the jumpers.

The program includes Pilates stretching, and strengthening exercises, balance and coordination activities both on and off the Pilates equipment. “These kids are great to work with because they are highly motivated”, says Deb Gulbrandson, owner of Cary Physical Therapy. Prior to starting their winter season, the athletes will attend Pilates classes at Cary Physical Therapy on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. “We see tremendous improvement as these jumpers continue to integrate the skills they have learned at Cary Physical Therapy with their ski jumping”. Cary Physical Therapy is located at 2615 Three Oaks Rd Ste 1A Cary, IL 60013 (847)516-8095 Ext 0.
