Cary Residents Sound Off on Flooding Woes
The village of Cary has hired an engineering firm to look at the damage, according to the Northwest Herald.

The village of Cary heard from several residents Thursday living in a "flood-prone neighborhood" near Sunset and Crest drives who areΒ fed up with their basements and garages filling up with water following heavy rains, according to the Northwest Herald.Β
Several residents shared their emotional stories during the meeting of dealing with flooding issues. Last month, when nearly six inches of rain fell in Cary in less than four hours, 37 homes and eight businessesΒ reported flood damage to the village, according to the article.Β
