Celebrate an Early "New Year's Eve in Greenland" at Tree of Life UU Congregation

The Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation will offer revelers chance to Celebrate New Year's Eve in Greenland.

The Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry, Illinois will offer revelers with an early bed time the opportunity to celebrate “New Year’s Eve in Greenland” on December 31 from 6:30 to 9 pm.

The event will offer a safe and early New Year’s celebration featuring Chinese food, beer, wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and water. Paper hats, streamers, noisemakers are included. Organizer Don Metivier said, “At the stroke of 9:00 (midnight Greenland time) we’ll sing Auld Lang Syne and head home to be snugly tucked in before 10:30.”

A $20 per adult donation is requested and children are free to this family friendly event.
