Chesterbrook Academy(R) Preschool in Lakewood to Host Trunk or Treat Community Event and Canned Food Drive

WHAT: Chesterbrook Academy® Preschool in Lakewood will host its second annual Trunk or Treat event for students, parents and children from the community on Friday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. Children are invited to safely trick or treat at this Halloween event in the school’s parking lot, which will feature festively decorated car trunks. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated trunk and best dressed parent. Attendees are encouraged to bring one canned food item as a donation to the Crystal Lake Community Harvest.

Crystal Lake Community Harvest collects food and monetary contributions through the efforts of the Crystal Lake Chamber and the Crystal Lake Food Pantry during the fall. The harvest then distributes food donations to local families for the winter.
