The Crystal Lake Park District Has Options for Kids Who Want To Learn To Cook and Bake
Including One Day Workshops and a Winter Break Camp

The Crystal Lake Park District has several class options for kids ages 4-16 with an interest in learning how to cook and bake. Registration in advance is required for all classes. Register online at www.crystallakeparks.org or in person at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake. Children’s Cake Decorating (ages 8-18)
Come and learn the basics of cake decorating. Learn how to frost a cake, and add borders while decorating a holiday cake that you can show off at your next gathering. Supplies are included and you will always take home your masterpiece.

Kids Culinary Winter Camp at Confetti Gourmet (ages 9-16)
Budding chefs will learn fundamental kitchen skills, focusing on measuring, mixing, working cleanly and safety in the kitchen. Class will also cover the techniques used in decorating a cake.
