The Crystal Lake Park District Has Options for Kids Who Want To Learn To Cook and Bake

The Crystal Lake Park District has several class options for kids ages 4-16 with an interest in learning how to cook and bake. Registration in advance is required for all classes. Children’s Cake Decorating (ages 8-18)
Come and learn the basics of cake decorating. Learn how to frost a cake, and add borders while decorating a holiday cake that you can show off at your next gathering. Supplies are included and you will always take home your masterpiece.

Kids Culinary Winter Camp at Confetti Gourmet (ages 9-16)
Budding chefs will learn fundamental kitchen skills, focusing on measuring, mixing, working cleanly and safety in the kitchen. Class will also cover the techniques used in decorating a cake.
