Crystal Lake to Hold Special Brush Collection on Thursday Due to Storm
Crystal Lake residents should have any brush debris set out for a Thursday, Nov. 21 pickup.

As a result of the storm on Sunday, Nov. 17, which causedΒ fallen branches and tree damage, the Crystal LakeΒ Public Works Department will conduct a specialΒ brush collection on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Crystal Lake residents should have any brush they need collected as a result of the wind storm moved to the parkway area in frontΒ of their home no later than Wednesday night, Nov. 20, to ensure that it will beΒ collected on Thursday.
All brush must be less than 6β in diameter and no more than sixΒ feet in length.Β
In addition, the city will also open the brush drop-off site at Wastewater Treatment PlantΒ #2, located at Coventry Lane and Dartmoor Drive, on Saturday, Nov. 23, fromΒ 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Residents may drop-off brush and yard waste material that occurredΒ due to wind damage from the recent storm event.
