Continuing more than a century of successful family-owned retail footwear businesses, Jim Heisler has opened Red Wing by Heisler in McHenry at 2210 W. Route 120. Heisler’s Bootery was founded by Jim’s grandfather in 1908 in Downtown Crystal Lake; in 2009 Jim Heisler opened Red Wing by Heisler at 1275 N. Randall Road, Crystal Lake. Now the third generation has three namesake boot boutiques.
“The newest location is 1900 sqft. featuring Red Wing work boots, hiking and hunting boots as well as an extensive line of work shoes. Companies in the area which require safety footwear can rely on the team at Heisler’s for everything from fit, form, function and fixing,” explains Jim Heisler the store’s owner. “The Red Wing program is no hassle for the client. We handle it all.”
