Physical Therapy Student Vanessa Loew completes Internship at Cary Physical Therapy

Physical therapy student Vanessa Loew from Rosalind Franklin University has successfully completed her internship at Cary Physical Therapy. This instruction provides physical therapy interns with “one on one” mentoring and instruction in the practical application of physical therapy skills and training.

Programs in physical therapy are 7 years leading to a graduate degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Vanessa is attending her second year. Cary Physical Therapy currently partners with 4 universities in Illinois to allow PT students to gain experience in private practice physical therapy.

“Because of our commitment to the profession as well as our community, we continue to grow and develop our clinical education program for future physical therapists” says John Felbinger, a Cary physical therapist who mentored Vanessa for her ten week internship. “We believe in providing best practice, evidence based care for our patients. Vanessa was attentive, willing to learn, and demonstrated a sincere commitment to the profession of physical therapy”.
