Programs, Events and Drop-In Fun for Seniors at Grand Oaks Active Senior Center
Open to both residents and non-residents of the Crystal Lake Park District
The Crystal Lake Park District offers special events, trips and weekly programs and activities for active senior adults. Registration is accepted up to the date of the program as long as space is available. Registration in advance is required, unless noted. Registration is accepted at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, located at One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, or online at www.crystallakeparks.org. The programs below are part of the winter/spring program selection. The winter/spring brochure is available online at www.crystallakeparks.org. Stop by and visit the Grand Oaks Active Senior Center, 1401 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake. The Crystal Lake Park District is pleased to offer the following at the Grand Oaks Active Senior Center: drop-in activities, guest speakers, social clubs/dinners, trips, programs such as, arts & crafts, games, Wii Bowling, movie days, cooking, fitness, dance, Bingo and much more! The senior center is open year-round.

Crystal Lake Park District Trip Policy:
In order to keep trips affordable, the CLPD co-ops with the Wauconda, Barrington, Grayslake, and Lindenhurst Park District. Departure location is dependent on numbers registered at each Park District. Every effort is made to leave for the trip from Park Place. Transportation may be in a park district van, mini-bus or motor coach. Motor coach trips are noted in the brochure. Cancellation policy: Refund will be given if the request falls before the cut-off date less the $5 service charge. If the refund request falls after the cut-off date, no refunds will be given unless a replacement is able to be found.
